Kimberly A. Whaley is the principal of the law firm, Whaley Estate Litigation. She practices exclusively in the areas of Estate, Trust, Capacity, Fiduciary and Power of Attorney Litigation and Mediation.
Kimberly has been designated as a Certified Specialist in Estates and Trusts Law by the Law Society of Upper Canada.
Kimberly has completed the Advanced Mediation Advocacy Forum and Canadian National Mediation Advocacy Competition Forum, Osgoode Hall.

Kimberly became a solicitor of the Supreme Court of England and Wales in 1995. Kimberly completed her LL.M. at the University of Bristol, England, in International Law in 1992. Kimberly completed her LL.B. at the University of Exeter and Nottingham Law School in 1994. Kimberly received a Diploma in Legal Practice (Dip.L.P.) with Commendation in 1995 at the University of Bristol. Kimberly earned her Diploma in Professional Skills Cantab. (Dip.P.S.) at the University of Cambridge/College of Law in 1997. Kimberly received her Certificate of Qualification with the Ontario National Committee on Accreditation in 1998, and was admitted to the Ontario Bar in February 1999.
Kimberly is currently Past-Chair of the OBA Trusts & Estates Executive. Kimberly is involved in several subcommittees and is a liaison on the Estate Bench and Bar Committee.
Kimberly is a frequent lecturer and contributor to the Law Society of Upper Canada and Ontario Bar Association Continuing Legal Education programs.
Kimberly is a member of the Estate Planning Council of Toronto.
Kimberly is a committee member of The Professional Advisory Group of the Baycrest Foundation.
Kimberly is a contributor to the yearly Canada Law Book publication "Key Developments in Estates and Trusts Law in Ontario" (2008 and 2009) Editions and authored the chapter "Passings of Accounts, including Contested Passings".
Kimberly was awarded the Hoffstein Book Price Award in 2009, recognizing contributions and achievements by younger members of the OBA in the area of wills, trusts and estates.
Kimberly is Mom of Sam, age 11, and runs marathons in her spare time.
